Why We Choose Virtual Visits Instead of In-Home Tours
One of the most common questions we receive is:
“Can we come visit the kittens in person?”
We completely understand the excitement of welcoming a new family member. If you are searching for your future Ragdoll companion, it is natural to want to meet the kittens before making a decision. However, as a small home-based cattery, the health and well-being of our cats will always come first. Many of our kittens are newborns or very young babies with developing immune systems. Even well-meaning visitors can unknowingly carry viruses, bacteria, fungi, or parasites on their clothing, shoes, hands, or after visiting other cats, shelters, veterinary clinics, grooming facilities, or pet stores. For this reason, we limit outside traffic in our kitten areas. A quiet and stable environment is also important for healthy kitten development. Frequent visitors, unfamiliar scents, and constant activity can create unnecessary stress for mothers and young kittens during critical stages of growth and socialization.
Our goal is to raise confident, healthy, well-socialized Ragdolls in a calm family environment.

WHAT IS THE RAGDOLL “AWKWARD STAGE”?
Many Ragdolls go through a temporary developmental phase often referred to as the “awkward stage.”
During this period, kittens may appear less balanced as different parts of the body grow at different rates. Long legs, larger ears, a narrower face, and a lighter coat are all common changes that can occur during normal development.
This stage is temporary and does not necessarily reflect the kitten’s future appearance or overall quality.
EVERY KITTEN DEVELOPS DIFFERENTLY
No two Ragdolls mature at exactly the same rate. Even littermates can develop very differently during their first year. Some kittens may pass through the awkward stage quickly, while others may take several months before their adult features begin to emerge.
WHEN DOES IT HAPPEN?
There is no exact timeline. Most Ragdolls experience some degree of awkward development between approximately 3 and 7 months of age, although the timing and intensity can vary considerably from one kitten to another. Some kittens may show only subtle changes, while others go through a more noticeable transition.
